The Saxon State Ministry of Science, Culture and Tourism (SMWK) approves new SRH university campus in Leipzig's Reudnitz district
From October 2024, national and international students will study for the first time at the SRH Campus Leipzig on the premises at Prager Straße 40. Bachelor's and Master's programs will be offered in the fields of Computer Science, International Business and Supply Chain Management. Medical specialists are also qualified in the B.Sc. Physician Assistant programme.
"In Leipzig, too, our aim is to respond directly to the regional demand for skilled workers by offering tailor-made degree courses. As usual, we focus on practical training and active exchange with local companies," explains Raluca Modoiu, Head of Regional Market Development.
SRH universities are known for their high success rate: 90% of students successfully complete their studies and an impressive 97% find a job within six months of graduating. "This underlines the enormous potential we have through our graduates to not only promote qualified specialists in the region, but also to retain and retain them in the long term," continued Modoiu.
The approximately 1.200 m² of the campus is currently being renovated to create a pleasant learning environment for students. The rooms will have an open design and invite collaborative and interdisciplinary work. This is an important prerequisite for SRH's own teaching and learning principle CORE. This is specifically designed to meet the current requirements of companies. It analyzes the professional and personal skills that young professionals need for a successful career start. The course content is designed on this basis and taught in interactive, practical formats.
The Stifterverband awarded CORE the Genius Loci Prize for excellent teaching back in 2018. It is now used at all SRH campuses.

The new SRH Campus Leipzig in the Reudnitz district is also perfectly located in terms of infrastructure for future students. A hall of residence run by cooperation partner Basecamp and a canteen are located in the immediate vicinity. Several adjacent parks are ideal for recreation and sporting activities and the city center can be reached by public transport in just 10 minutes.
